Abstract

This study seeks to uncover the key dimensions of organizational agility during crises, using grounded theory methodology within the logistics industry. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with 20 senior operations managers from regional logistics firms that navigated the COVID-19 crisis, the analysis identified four core agility dimensions: structural flexibility, real-time decision-making autonomy, adaptive supply chain reconfiguration, and workforce redeployment readiness. The emergent model illustrates how agility is not merely operational but also behavioral and strategic. These insights provide a theoretical foundation for further agility metrics and resilience frameworks in turbulent environments.
