Abstract

This research investigates the multidimensional nature of employee engagement in remote work settings within technology-driven organizations. Through in-depth interviews with 25 professionals from remote-first tech companies, this exploratory study identified six distinct engagement dimensions: perceived autonomy, digital communication climate, recognition and feedback, emotional connection to team, work-life integration, and technological support infrastructure. Findings suggest that digital engagement goes beyond task-related factors and is deeply rooted in relational and environmental perceptions. The study contributes to the understanding of how engagement manifests in virtual contexts and provides actionable insights for remote team management.
